1. Overview
This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Rajdari Resort processes refunds for canceled bookings, overpayments, and other eligible scenarios. This policy should be read in conjunction with our Cancellation Policy.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:
- Booking cancellations made in accordance with our Cancellation Policy
- Overpayments or duplicate payments
- Booking cancellations initiated by Rajdari Resort
- Service failures or significant discrepancies in amenities provided
- Payment errors or technical issues during the booking process
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:
- Bookings made under "Non-Refundable" promotional rates or special offers
- No-show (failure to check in without prior cancellation)
- Early check-out or voluntary reduction of stay duration
- Late cancellations (as per Cancellation Policy timelines)
- Dissatisfaction with services that were not reported during the stay
- Force majeure events preventing guest arrival (unless documented)
- Personal reasons not covered under exceptional circumstances
- Bookings where the guest violated our Terms and Conditions, resulting in eviction
4. Refund Calculation
4.1 Cancellation-Based Refunds:
Refund amounts are calculated based on the cancellation timeline as specified in our Cancellation Policy:
- The refund percentage applies to the total booking amount (excluding non-refundable taxes and processing fees)
- Government taxes (GST) are generally non-refundable as per Indian tax regulations
- Payment gateway charges (2-3%) may be deducted from the refund amount
4.2 Partial Refunds:
In cases of partial cancellations (e.g., reducing the number of rooms or nights):
- Refund will be calculated proportionally based on the canceled portion
- The cancellation timeline will apply to each canceled component separately
Example: If you booked 3 rooms and cancel 1 room, the refund will apply only to the 1 canceled room based on the applicable cancellation timeline.
5. Refund Processing Timeline
5.1 Standard Processing Time:
- Refund requests are processed within 7-10 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation
- Bank processing times may vary (typically 5-7 business days after initiation)
- Total refund timeline: 12-17 business days from cancellation
5.2 Refund Method:
- Credit/Debit Card: Refund will be credited to the original card used for payment
- UPI/Net Banking: Refund will be processed via bank transfer to the source account
- Cash Payments: Refund will be issued via bank transfer (please provide bank account details)
- Third-Party Bookings: Refund will be processed through the original booking platform
5.3 Refund Confirmation:
- You will receive an email/WhatsApp notification when the refund is initiated
- A refund reference number will be provided for tracking
- Bank statements may take an additional 3-5 days to reflect the refund
6. Deductions from Refunds
The following charges may be deducted from your refund amount:
- Processing Fees: 2-3% of the booking amount (payment gateway charges)
- Administrative Fees: ₹200-₹500 (for cancellations requiring manual processing)
- Non-Refundable Taxes: GST and other government-mandated taxes (as applicable)
- Bank Transfer Charges: ₹50-₹100 (if applicable)
- Third-Party Platform Fees: As per the booking platform's policy
Note: Processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted even for 100% refund-eligible cancellations.
7. Refund for Overpayments and Errors
If you have been charged more than the confirmed booking amount due to technical errors:
- Full refund of the excess amount within 3-5 business days
- No processing fees or deductions will apply
- Please report the error immediately to bookings@rajdariresort.com with payment proof
For duplicate transactions:
- One transaction will be refunded in full within 5-7 business days
- Provide both transaction IDs and bank statements as proof
8. Refund for Resort-Initiated Cancellations
If Rajdari Resort cancels your confirmed booking:
- 100% full refund (no deductions)
- Refund will be processed within 3-5 business days
- We will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative accommodation options
- Rajdari Resort is not liable for any additional expenses incurred (travel, alternate accommodation, etc.)
9. Refund for Service Failures
If you experience significant service failures during your stay (e.g., unavailability of confirmed amenities, room category mismatch):
- Report the issue immediately to our front desk or management
- We will attempt to resolve the issue promptly (room upgrade, additional amenities, etc.)
- If resolution is not possible, a partial refund may be offered at management's discretion
- Refund requests must be made within 48 hours of check-out
Important: Issues not reported during your stay will not be eligible for refunds. We cannot address concerns after your departure without prior notification.
10. Credit Vouchers (Alternative to Refunds)
In certain situations, Rajdari Resort may offer a credit voucher instead of a cash refund:
- Validity: Credit vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue
- Usage: Can be used for future bookings at Rajdari Resort
- Transferability: Credit vouchers are non-transferable
- Value: Voucher value may be equal to or greater than the refund amount (discretionary bonus)
- Expiry: Unused vouchers expire after 12 months with no cash redemption
11. Activity and Service Refunds
Refunds for separately booked activities (trekking, rock climbing, zipline, etc.):
- Follow the same refund processing timeline as room bookings
- Refunds are subject to the activity-specific cancellation policy
- If an activity is canceled by the resort due to weather or safety concerns, a 100% refund or reschedule will be offered
12. Group Booking Refunds
For group bookings (5 or more rooms):
- Refunds are processed as per the group cancellation policy
- Partial refunds for individual room cancellations within the group may incur higher processing fees
- Advance payments for group bookings may have extended refund timelines (up to 15 business days)
13. International Payment Refunds
For bookings made with international credit cards or via foreign currency:
- Refunds will be processed in the original currency and payment method
- Currency conversion rates at the time of refund may differ from the booking date
- International transaction fees charged by your bank are non-refundable
- Refund processing time may be slightly longer (10-15 business days)
14. Third-Party Booking Platform Refunds
If you booked through third-party platforms (MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Booking.com, Agoda, etc.):
- Refunds must be requested through the original booking platform
- Platform-specific cancellation and refund policies apply
- Rajdari Resort will process refunds to the platform as per mutual agreements
- The platform will then process your refund based on their policy
- Total refund timeline may be longer (15-30 business days)
15. Dispute Resolution
If you have concerns or disputes regarding your refund:

- We will review your case and respond within 48 hours
- If the dispute remains unresolved, you may escalate to senior management

Rajdari Resort reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. The policy in effect at the time of your booking will govern your refund eligibility and terms.

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India and complies with:
